Students who participate in Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science conceive and conduct their own scientific experiments. They then present a report to a panel of judges who are expert in their fields of study. Competitions are at the regional level and those who get first awards make presentations at the state level at Penn State in State College. In addition to first, second and third place award certificates, some students win cash awards.
