All tests are done twice! Two samples are taken. Two DO samples are taken and run. Sample bottles are always washed out with stream water before filling.

In the lab before sampling

    Calibrate the pH and TDS meters

At the sampling site

    Take temperature

    Do the Dissolved Oxygen procedure through step 4

    Take pH

    Take TDS

    Fill sample bottles

Return to lab

    Complete the Dissolved Oxygen

    Run Phosphate

    Run Nitrate

    Run Turbidity

    Run Alkalinity

    Put data on blackboard

    Complete the data sheet

    Inventory the field kit

    Inventory the equipment at each chemical station
