General Directions: Begin with properly cleaned and fired 06 bisque.  Thin down White and apply over entire piece to get into all detail.  When dry, apply another coat of undiluted White.  Allow to dry.  Apply Hyacinth Blue in small areas wiping back for highlights until entire piece is covered.  Dampen a soft cloth with Solvent to wipe back further highlights.  Spray with Porcelain Mist to set TL.  Reminder: In this technique, sometimes more than 1 coat of TL is necessary so between each coat, the color must be sprayed in order not to lift the first layer.

1.       Apply Black TL to all the stones, chimney and rooftops.  Apply Black Forest to the grass; wipe back highlights. Spray. Highlight grass Sunflower and Tangelo.  Spray.

2.       Drybrush cobblestones lightly with Medium Gray then randomly drybrush stones of Brick Red, Light Gray and Mink.  Lightly highlight with White; then add more highlights where there would be foot traffic to the doors.

3.       Apply Coal Gray to all the siding then wipe back highlights.  Spray.  Apply Nubian Brown to the boards on porch.  Wipe back highlights and spray.

4.       Drybrush the stones around the porch with Mink.  Tip into Ivory Tusk to highlight.  Evenly drybrush the porch with Ivory Tusk; tip into White to lightly highlight.

5.       For the porch pillars, chimney top and stone eave, evenly drybrush with Light Gray.  Highlight the siding with the same color.  Tip into White to highlight porch pillars and stone eave.

6.       Highlight the roof shingles with Medium Gray; tip into Light Gray to lightly highlight.  Drybrush the doors, chimney bricks and roof eave and trim with Brick Red.  Tip into Ivory Tusk to lightly add highlight.

7.       For the windows and final trims, begin by drybrushing Brick Red in the arches of the windows.  Then evenly drybrush all corner trims, window trims and door trims with White.  For the cross points in the windows, apply Flat Black.  Use the same color for the window trim in the doors.  Spray.

8.       Apply Shimmering Silver to the kick plate of door and plate around door handle.  Use Flat Black for the door handles.
