  1. Begin with properly cleaned and fired 04-03 bisque. In a clean jar, mix 2oz each of Cotton Tail and Leaded Roll-A-Coat. Roll inside of canister bottom. Drain and allow to dry upside on paper towel. Wipe away any runs or drips. Repeat for lid.
  2. Antique the door and top of lid with Down To Earth. Antique the brick area, center band and top rim of the canister bottom with Gray Hare. While wiping back the color on the bricks, leave some color in the sponge and gently tap some color back onto the piece. Allow to dry.
  3. Apply 2 medium washes of Cotton Tail to the brick area, center band and top rim allowing to dry thoroughly between coats. Then heavily dry brush bricks with 2 coats of Cotton Tail. Dry brush door with 4 coats.
  4. For the windows, apply 3 coats of 501 Blues to the window glass; including the door window. Use 4 coats of Cherry Bomb for the window frames and the top detail trim of canister bottom.
  5. Transfer the name of canister to the center band. With Tuxedo, apply 3 coats to the name on band, top detail trim, hinges & handle on door and bottom of the canister.
  6. For the lid windows, apply 3 coats of Butter Me Up. Float Poo Bear around the edges of the windows.
  7. Apply 4 slightly thinned coats of Cherry Bomb to the knob, top body of lid and the "walk way." Refer to photo as needed for color placements. When dry, float Down To Earth in ring crevices of lid.
  8. Use 3 coats of Tuxedo for band on knob, window trims, bottom band and the under side of lid.
  9. For the small detail trim on lower part of lid, use 3 coats of Cotton Tail. Clean up any edges and trim lines with a cleaning tool for a clean edge between colors.
  10. Apply 2 coats of Blu-White Clear to entire outside of canister. Remember, when going over black not to go over an area too many times as this can lead to smearing. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
