 General Directions: Begin with properly cleaned and fired 06 bisque.  Thin down White and apply over entire piece to get into all detail.  When dry, apply another coat of undiluted White.  Allow to dry.  Apply Hyacinth Blue in small areas wiping back for highlights until entire piece is covered.  Dampen a soft cloth with Solvent to wipe back further highlights.  Spray with Porcelain Mist to set TL.  Reminder: In this technique, sometimes more than 1 coat of TL is necessary so between each coat, the color must be sprayed in order not to lift the first layer.

 Technique

1.      Apply Black TL to the stones and rooftops.  Apply Black Forest to the grass; wipe back highlights. Spray. Highlight grass Sunflower and Tangelo.  Spray.

2.      Use Rich Walnut for the steps and floor of gazebo.  Spray. 

3.      For the first coat, apply White Cloud to the lattice, railings and main details of gazebo then drybrush 3 coats to the same areas.  The first coat should be into the details.  If needed, drybrush these same areas with White to even out tone.

4.      Apply Lush Green to the shrubbery.  Spray.  Add dot flowers with Christmas Red, Lt. Yellow Orange and White.

5.      Drybrush the floor and steps with Dark Umber.  Highlight with Mink then tip into White to further highlight.

6.      Randomly drybrush a few stones with Mink, Light Gray and Brick Red.

7.      Drybrush roof with Brick Red.  With a clean brush, highlight with Lt. Yellow Orange.
