General Directions:
Begin with properly cleaned and fired 06
bisque. Thin down White and apply over entire piece to get into all detail.
When dry, apply another smooth coat of undiluted White. When dry, apply
Hyacinth Blue in small areas wiping back for highlights until entire piece is
covered. Dampen a soft cloth with Solvent to wipe back highlights for an
overall even look to antiquing. Spray with Porcelain Mist to set TL.
Technique
1.
Apply Black TL to cobblestones, roof and side stones at entrance. Wipe
back highlights on stones. Spray. Apply a thin layer of Holiday Red to roof
and sides stones at entrance. Spray. Drybrush roof and side stones with Brick
Red. Highlight with Christmas Red then tip into Marigold to further highlight.

Wedgewood Blue and Brick Red. Lightly highlight with Light Gray.
3.
Apply Black Forest to the grass, bottom and base of sign, lower roof eave and 1 part of the
side window sections. Spray. Gently wipe back highlights on grass. Spray.
Highlight grass with Sunflower and Tangelo. Spray. For all other areas,
lightly drybrush with Forest Green then tip into Marigold to lightly highlight.
4.
Apply Nubian Brown to the chimneys and building stones. Wipe back stones
leaving most of the color in the mortar then spray. Drybrush stones with Ginger
Oak. When tacky, wipe back highlights and spray. Randomly drybrush some stones
with Light Tan and Light Umber. Highlight archway stones with Vanilla Ice then
tip into White to further highlight. Drybrush flues with Light Gray then
highlight with White.

Apply Antique Ivory to the entire “pizza” on the main sign and spray.
Use a thin layer of Tangelo on the area where cheese and pepperoni are and
spray. Apply a second layer of Tangelo around the edge towards crust, fading to
the center. Spray. Apply a coat of Ginger Oak to the crust and spray. Apply a
thin layer of Nubian Brown to the pepperonis. Spray. Add a thin layer of
Holiday Red. Spray. Lightly drybrush cheese with Marigold then tip into White
to further highlight.

Drybrush with White if needed to even out color.
7.
