The Mason's Lodge is a very unique building to miniature ceramic villages. As far as we know, no other village has ever had a Mason's Lodge. This one was modeled after one from the 1800's somewhere in Montana.

TRIM, VALANCE ABOVE WINDOWS, WINDOW SILLS, EAVES, DOOR CASING and CORNER TRIM: Paint the corner trim, the trim under the eaves, and the lower part of the valance above the windows with Burgundy. Paint the window sills, the face of the eaves, and the upper part of the valance above the windows with Hunter Green. Heavily dry brush the under portion of the eaves with Buttermilk. STONES: Apply a coat of Ginger Oak to all of the stones. Wipe back with a soft cloth. Spray and allow to dry. Paint some of the stones with Blue Smoke, Walnut, Maple, Toasted Pecan, and Slate Grey in a random pattern. Do not wipe back. Spray and allow to dry. STEPS: Heavily dry brush the steps with Medium Gray. Then dry brush with White so that the steps look worn. SIGN: Heavily dry brush the background of the sign with White Acrylic. Using a small detail brush, paint the border, the emblem, and the lettering with Jet Black. CUPOLA: Apply Copper Penny to the roof of the steeple. Apply Light Patina over the Copper Penny and wipe back. You may need to apply several coats of the Light Patina to achieve the aging process you wish. Spray entire piece and allow to dry.
