1900 Church General:. Base coat fired 04-06 bisque with 2 coats of White Acrylic. Thin first coat with 1/3 water. Using a soft brush, scrub over entire piece, getting into all cracks and crevices. Apply a second coat of White Acrylic full strength. After each application of a translucent stain (TL), spray with Porcelain Mist and allow to dry. This will set the color to avoid smudging. 1. Apply Hyacinth Blue to the entire piece and outside sculptures. Let dry until tacky. Wipe back with Solvent and a soft cloth. Allow for shading and detail. Spray. 2. Apply Black Forest to the roof with a soft brush. Wipe back with Solvent to get the desired effect. Spray. Dry brush roof very lightly with Vanilla Ice to highlight. 3. Apply Sable to stones. Let dry until tacky and wipe back with Solvent. Spray. Randomly paint some stones with Red Clay, Dresdon, Blue Smoke and Warm Gray. Use a random pattern. Do not wipe back. Spray. 4. Dry brush the concrete steps, corner stones, outside sculptures, and masonry windowsills with Medium Gray. Dry brush with Vanilla Ice and Eggshell. 5. Cover the grass with Black Forest. Highlight with Sunflower and Red Clay respectively. Wipe back to get desired effect. Spray. 6. Paint the windows and door with Holiday Red. Do Not wipe back. Spray. Paint door straps with Metallic Gold. Spray. 7. Paint the steeples with Copper Penny. Mix some Green Patina with Black Brown to get a dark patina. Apply over the Copper Penny, and wipe back. Repeat several times to get the desired effect. Spray. 8. Dry brush eaves with Medium Mocha and dry brush with Vanilla Ice and Eggshell. Spray entire piece with Porcelain Mist and let dry.
Technique 2 (Novice)

1. Apply Gold Sable to entire piece. Let set until tacky. Wipe back until you achieve the desired effect. Allow for shading. Spray. 2. Apply Evergreen to the roof. Allow to dry until tacky and wipe back until you get the desired shading. Spray. Dry brush roof with White Acrylic for highlights. Lightly dry brush Eggshell over the White. 3. Apply Brandied Raspberry to door. 4. Randomly paint stones with Antique Ivory, Peach Cameo, Ginger Oak and Red Maple. Do Not wipe back. Spray. 5. Dry brush corner stones, masonry window sills with Vanilla Ice. 6. Apply Brandied Raspberry to windows and door frame. Wipe back to desired effect and spray. 7. Dry brush steps and cap stones with Dusty Gray, dry brush with Vanilla Ice to highlight. 8. Paint Copper Penny to door hinges and the steeples. Let dry. Apply Green Patina mixed with Black Brown over the steeples to get a dark patina finish. 9. Apply Black Forest to grass, highlight with Sunflower and Tangelo. Wipe back to achieve the desired effect. Spray.
